March 2020: Average high 58.4, statistically average.

Weird weather the last couple of days...A tornado in West Richland, and a hailstorm in Pasco dropping the temperature from 54 to 37 in less than five minutes. I witnessed this one myself, drove back across the cable bridge and the sun was out!

Not to mention the snow we had on the 14th while we had an Arctic blast.

Wasn’t that just a half inch that melted by 2pm? My records shows high of 36 that day and then 40’s and 50’s the following days. Not that unusual for mid March.

We didn't get very much snow that day and I agree it can get very cold in mid March, at least this year's March was a lot warmer than last year's March.

April high temps are in. 69.8 average, almost 4 degrees above average. It really has been a beautiful start to Spring here, with the exception of the winds.

I also noticed the rainfall we've had this past month has been below normal which isn't a good sign because I don't want there to be a severe drought this summer.

I know there is a lot going on right now, but I am determined to keep this thread going...

May high average comes in at 76.6, slightly above normal. I think the 90+ days Friday and Saturday put us over.

Last five May averages:

'15: 80
'16: 78
'17: 77
'18: 81
'19: 79

So while this past month was above normal, it was the coolest May in the past 5 years.

I don't think it got above 90 yesterday, it definitely was more humid than Atlanta, Georgia yet Atlanta was only a tad warmer than us.
