That is pretty common except you don't hear about most of those perverts.

Every decade, there is always these outlandish claims made by at least one person interested in peddling their books or pushing their TV special, claiming that they have finally "solved" the Whitechapel murders.

From the article:

Quote:
Most damning of all, Mann undressed the victim with his assistant, despite being under strict instructions from police to not touch the body
Gasp! Yup, that's some really compelling evidence right there!

In all seriousness, Aaron Kosminski is the most probable suspect behind the Whitechapel murders.

Another Jack the Ripper myth (largely created by the media) was the notion that he had some sort of medical background. The way he cut open most of his victims suggests nothing of the sort.

In all seriousness, the likelihood that the correct suspect was EVER named in ANY of the books and movies about him is about a thousand to one. Look how hard it is to find a serial killer today, with fingerprinting, DNA testing, hair & fiber analysis, gas chromatography, tox screens, detailed postmortem testing available and CCTV everywhere you go. The police in London in 1888 had none of that. None!
