Her sentence was commuted to life and she will serve her term FULLY when she dies. Everyone dies from something and unfortunately she will die from cancer while incarcerated. Isn't that the point of a "life sentence"??? The prisoner DIES in prison at the end of their LIFE?

Like I said, we all die from something...did she think she was exempt?

Why would anyone think of letting her out? This is how it is supposed to be.

If she has "found Jesus" ( I didn't realize he was missing) she should be willing to take her punishment for her active role in those innocent victims heinous murders.

No, absolutely NOT.

One look at the photos of the mutilated bodies in the Tate house, and the answer is clear.

If she was guilty of murder, SHE should stay in...but if it's all Charlie's "fault" then HE should stay in.

Determine who's at "fault" and release the other.

She admitted killing Sharon Tate during the sentencing phase of her trial. She described in vivid detail how Sharon Tate continued to beg for her unborn babies life and Susan Atkins "got sick of hearing it" so she stabbed her more...it sounds like California has the right people behind bars.

I think she should remain in prison for the remainder of her life. What she did to Sharon Tate and the others was inexcusable and she should not be given any breaks just because she has brain cancer.

Personally, I think someone should stab her repeatedly. I hope she suffers as she dies and then continues to suffer in Hell. Sounds awful, but that is the way I feel.

She is about to be released from prison, but probably not as she had hoped. When they wheel her out in a black bag, then she will be free. I know its harsh but as others have pointed out, her disregard for the lives of others sealed her own fate.

I agree with this completely. If she truly felt remorse, I would think she would come forward to help with the search for all the other vicitms so their families could find some closure to this horror. And even if she did, I feel she should serve her time. I agree that those that were brainwashed by Manson lost their lives in a different way and it is sad, but the rules of our society are clear - crime = punishment.

If she has really found God she will not go to Hell despite what she did here. He has forgiven her and she will spend her enternal life with Him. But that does not excuse what she did here or the fact she should remain in prison for life for it.

We should fear for our safety if she gets out. Many "terminal" patients given 6 months to live, live well beyond that. Shame on our justice system if this evil woman is released on a so called "compassionate release"...how appalling! Do we have to remind them of the gory details of her crimes???
