Susan Smith is asking for a new trial using the excuse that the previous trial was unfair?

This woman strapped her children in their car seat and rolled the car into the lake, then accused two black men of car jacking her vehicle. There is a special place in H.ll for someone this evil.

If they grant her a new trial, I hope that the death penalty is a possibility for her. She is a POS sorry excuse for a parent.

Along with murdering her sweet, innocent children for the sake of possibly having a chance to date a man who was wealthy; I really hated that she had no problem with blaming the crime on innocent Black men.

I just don't see her doing any serious jail time. It would not be *politically correct* to send her to prison.

Huh? She's been locked up for over 15 years. She really should have received the death penalty

I hope they grant her a new trial at the bottom of a lake.

Meh, I don't know. Nobody likes filicide. It's not like she had post partum depression and killed her kids in the midst of some delusionally paranoid episode, she just wanted to go out with a guy who didn't like kids.

I read a story several years ago in a newspaper that she and other inmates were allowed to leave the prison and work and clean the Governor's mansion because of good behavior. They caught her doing a guard in the mansion's basement and as a result her mansion cleaning days were over. It seems far fetched but I did read it in a paper (Washington Post) and assume its true.
