Yeah, it took all of three minutes or so out of my busy life.

Do we need more Tea Party/Palin/Gay threads?

Philadelphia at its best. Philadelphia home games are notorious for harboring a bunch of classless, belligerent pieces of trash... This is nothing new.

While this is vile and disgusting I have seen people released on much lower bail for much worse offenses. Apparently this is what happens when the victim is a police captain.

Yeah because other cities don't have similar or worse issues/fans

I remember a father/son running onto the field in a Chicago White Sox game and attacking the first base coach. I think they had issues with fans throwing cell phones at players too.

Let's not forget the wonderful fans of LA:

Violent incidents surround end of Dodgers game - 4/13/09 - Los Angeles-Southern California-LA Breaking News, Weather, Traffic, Sports - abc7.com

Quote:
After a nearly picture-perfect Dodgers opening day of baseball at Chavez Ravine, several violent incidents broke out near the stadium. A 30-year-old man was reportedly stabbed in the parking lot of Dodger Stadium, near Gate A. His condition was serious. He was treated by firefighters and was transported to a hospital.

Police are seeking suspects related to the stabbing. The suspect vehicle is described as a black Ford F-150 pickup truck with a broken back window.
Police also received a report of man with gun. When officers arrived at the reported location, they found no man with a gun, but did find evidence of vandalism. It was not reported what had been vandalized.

Outside the stadium on Sunset Boulevard, there was a report of a huge fight, possibly involving as many as 30 people, and possibly involving a gun. Police were investigating, but no further evidence of the fight was found.
Anybody remember the Dodger fans flashing gang signs throughout the LA/Phillies playoff games? I remember hearing a ton of horror stories from that series b/c of the fans/gang members at the stadium.

This reminds me of the YES concert I went to in the late 80's. There was a hippie/biker looking guy with his woman in front of me. Next to him was a preppy looking guy with his woman.

The hippie guy and girl were smoking a doobie, mellow watching the band. The preppy guy next to them was wasted drunk. The preppy guy hurled all over the hippy/biker guy's girl, the preppy guy's girl was all embarrassed while the hippy/biker guy got pissed and grabbed the preppy guy and ugh, made him *leave*.

What's my point? Weed doesn't make people vomit on others, it doesn't get them violent. While I drink sometimes and don't smoke anymore, it is high time (high time haha!) that weed be legalized.
