My husband and I are going out tonight on a real live date for the first time in several months. We just had a baby and my Mother is in from out of state to spend time with him, so we want to take advantage of this short-lived freedom and find a nice place to have dinner tonight. Any suggestions? Here's a little about us:
We won't be drinking so wine lists/bars aren't that important tonight
We aren't looking to spend a ton of money. Preferably under 40 a person.
Since we don't get to go out much, I'd really like a place with a nice atmosphere. I especially love dark-ish, steak-house atmospheres, if that makes sense. We just don't want something that feels like every other restaurant we could go to every day. Something comfortable and slightly romantic.
We live on the East side of town and would prefer to not have to drive very far, so maybe nothing much further west than Swan if possible.
