We will be moving to the northwest part of Tucson in less than a year. I am a personal trainer and fitness instructor. Can anyone tell me the gyms I can look at in that area for a job. Is there a ymca? I would like to get the point of few from members. Thanks ahead of time

I work out with a personal trainer at SWAT on the NW side and love it. There's a YMCA on this side also. Other gyms/personal training studios are bodyBasics Health and Fitness, Gold's Gym and Better Bodies. Far NW facilities include Body Glo Fitness and Curves. There are a few resort/spas on the NW side that may use trainers as well. You should have plenty of options.

"Miravel ~ Life in Balance"

This resort/spa in Catalina, AZ, just north of Oro Valley, is where Oprah sent the whole audience of teachers on one of her "gift" sweeps. This is an all-service health experience that is world famous & celebrity soaked all year round!

Default Tucson Fitness Centers - NW Tucson

I agree with the other post. SWAT Personal Training in Northwest Tucson is the best, hands down.

The studio is like a fitness spa. And they offer boot camp fitness outdoors so you don't even have to join a gym.

go to www.SWATFitness.com for more information about SWAT Fitness. They really are the best in the area

Miraval is very well-respected, and there is also Canyon Ranch, although it's more northeastern foothills.

There's a massive LA Fitness worth looking into for trainer opportunities, as well.

Default Boot Camp

I have been taking fitness classes at Urban Athletics Boot Camp for the last 2 months & I love it! They offer after work classes, (I take the 5:45 class). I haven't really been into the whole gym thing, but this seems to work for me, I have already lost 10 pounds!

Default Fitness Boot Camp

There are a lot of choices for fitness programs in Tucson, thank goodness. The SWAT Boot Camps have been around for a while. The website is www.SWATBootCamps.com if you're interested.

Tucson is a great mecca for fitness enthusiasts, so I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding something that works for you. You can't beat the hiking trails and biking events.
