The GV Roadmap Group is asking for your help.

On the first anniversary of the 10-year Green Valley Community Plan: Roadmap to 2025, we invite you to participate in improving Green Valley’s future for the benefit of all. Our community thrives because of the activities of our members and stakeholders (i.e., our-residents, businesses, organizations, and investors) who work towards Green Valley’s growth and success. But in order to chart our advances we need to know exactly what our community is doing? Or is not doing? Unfortunately, we have never had a centralized destination to log and highlight all that our members and stakeholders do.

UNTIL NOW!

We are celebrating the anniversary of the Roadmap by unveiling a place to record all the activities (events, forums, meetings, etc.) occurring in the community that help further the goals in the Roadmap. It’s called the Roadmap Implementation Tracking System (RITS).

And we need your help!

As a resident of Green Valley, you have knowledge of activities happening at all levels and in all parts of the community. From individuals or clubs participating in a project to gather food to donate to the Food Bank; to organizations that sponsor a program to fill a specific community need; to religious or other groups doing charitable work; to organizations hosting community events, forums or educational activities, you are the eyes and ears of the community. Without your input there will be no information for community leaders to use to measure progress in our community towards its goals or for future decision-making, which is the key element of the whole strategic planning process.

To learn more about how you can contribute to Green Valley’s future, please click here to go to the Green Valley Community Plan Website. There you will find information on how easy it is to report an activity/event that you have either observed or participated in. I’ve also attached a tri-fold brochure to this email as an easy reference or drop by the Green Valley Council/Foundation office to pick up a hard copy.

If you would like to hear first-hand about how you can assist in assuring Green Valley’s future, contact us at communityplangroup@gvc-foundation.org. We would be delighted to brief you or your organization on our progress in ensuring Green Valley remains a great place to live, work, play, and invest.

Sincerely,
Susan Anderson
Chair, Green Valley Community Plan Management Group (aka Roadmap Group)
