I want an avalanche myself! I burnt orange one (copper) ... with a big fat University of Texas sticker in the middle of the rear window. Nice trucks!

She has a little soreness where the seatbelt was across her stomach and a little rubbed raw spot on her shoulder, again from the seatbelt.

Yeah, that's definitely a total loss. Fight like hell for what it's worth, I've heard horror stories of vehicles being appraised and totaled for way less than they're actually worth.

When my Sentra was totaled, I got a bunch more than I thought I would (almost definitely because they had no idea the transmission was gone and it stalled at an idle), but I'd be leary.

No news on the car. Talked to officer and he said the witness could not place the other girl's car when the light was green. Seems obvious to me but my insurance said it really didn't matter. They talked to the witness themselves and he is with us. Still going to be 10% on my wife because she did not 'look left and right before entering the intersection'. They are saying that girl was already in it likely when my wife bolted into it.

But when i tested that theory it took me at least 3-4 secs of normal acceleration to get to the point where the girl hit my wife. Grrr.... clearly a light runner/text-messager.
