Greetings all,

I've recently moved to Tucson and need to sign up with either Sprint or ATT. I plan to use a phone for both talking and 3G internet access. Which company provides better service in Tucson?

I'll largely be in northwest Tucson, if that makes a difference.

Thanks in advance!

That's a No-Brainer, Klt . . . SPRINT.

I've tried them all and Sprint offers the best quality service.

Good Luck

This is where personal opinion and experience is going to reign supreme I think.

I've sold ALL of the wireless services in this town in the past, with the exception of Cricket. The only ones I will personally do business with are Verizon and T-Mobile.

I wouldn't touch sprint if it were to save my life.

I'm with AT&T and I'm fine all over town. A coworker of mine has Sprint and also appears to be fine, even though his phone always shows fewer bars. I also think AT&T's roll-over minutes are a pretty good deal to pass. Besides, GSMs can be used abroad as well.

Like I said, personal opinions matter with this subject I think.

I was with TMobile for years, actually since Voicestream. Never any problems.

Now I am with Verizon because they had something I wanted that Tmobile did not.

I am extremely pleased with Verizon (unlike a lot of people I know).

When I was selling cell phones, I had tried them all, and gotten training from each provider. Sprint was always a pain in the butt to deal with, whether it be as a customer, or as someone trying to sell their product!

ATT was so/so.

Sprint or AT&T?

VERIZON!

I wonder why only the above two choices for you, Kit?

When I'd been reading reviews, a lot of people seemed to believe Verizon has the best coverage in Tucson. I don't use my phone much or in too many different areas, but haven't had any problems coverage-wise, either. I did have problems in the past I believed were coverage-related, but the phone itself was the culprit.

And let’s not forget – it has to be from either the Golden Valley or the Stepford Rancho! None others will do!

True... most times it does seem that the actual phone itself is the bad guy!

Rather Stepfordish, is it?
