There's all the great buildings downtown, especially Boston Avenue. Make sure to see Boston Avenue Methodist at 10th and Boston, one of the greatest buildings anywhere.

Just south of Downtown there's the Cherry Street (15th Street) and Maple Ridge area, and Swan Lake just north of 21st and Peoria and Woodward Park and the Tulsa Garden Center at 21st and Peoria. Just South of there on Peoria is the Brookside area and to the east at 21st and Utica is Utica Square. There's also the huge Riverparks system along Riverside Drive. Last if you want a little more "grit" go to the north and east of downtown, both are emerging areas with some nice new stuff, some great restored buildings and some tougher areas that can make for great urban street and industrial photos too.

All of these areas are within a few miles of downtown so there's no need to go far.
