Guessing because TU is a smaller school, and with OU a lot of people are probably siphoned off to OKC or other places. Seems like most of the list are smaller towns/cities where almost everyone associated with the school lives there, so you'd have a pretty high concentration of brain power.

You Are Right one of my wife friend has a daughter that went to Cornell University in Ithaca NY , the ranking are made up of Quality Major Schools in rather smallish towns....Cornell University - Visiting

I have been to a whole lot of those Univeristy town and the University own them..Tulsa OK way to big of a City...Norman OK is somewhere around 130,000 right about now that's a small city.....

I come from a AA family of 4 boys and 4 Girls , one of my brothers died before he
got to school age ' however all of my other siblings either grad from college " or
have some college work under their belt.

I have (2) brothers with degree's from OSU STILLWATER and (1) Sis with a Degree
from OU NORMAN...I'm the oldest and the Mutt of the family , but I have some work
put in at Northeastern State University Tahlequah OK...Solano Community Colege
Suisun City/Fairfield CA....Tulsa OK Community College..Laney College Oakland CA.
