Hi, Tulsa. I recently flew into your city in order to visit NWA. As much as I love that area, I've always liked Tulsa for various reasons (partially good memories of the past.)

What zip codes have the classic mid-century modern homes, and where are the historic art deco homes located? I've read about your city's architecture.

I wanted to visit Tulsa during my recent trip, but NWA took up all of my time.

Flying in, the pilot flew past downtown prior to landing--a nice view

Anyone with real estate experience or a knowledge of Tulsa's historic neighborhoods encouraged to respond. Thanks!

Hey Doug. I've lived in the area most of my life besides a short trip in High School to KS. I think the homes that you like are most likely in Mid-Town and the Blue Dome District area. Seems to me that a lot of folks like to buy homes there because they are on bigger lots and they go in and totally gut them and re-do them. As far as area codes I think that mid town is 74103. I live way out in South Tulsa in Jenks, OK which is where a lot of the new construction is going on. Most of the neighborhoods out that way are master planned and most of the homes look the same.

If you would like some solid information I could refer you to a realtor I know or feel free to hit me up with questions and I'll do my best to answer them for you.
