That's super great because there are other states, such as Mississippi that can still only dream of looking that good for income growth.

when you are on the bottom up is the only way you can go,oklahoma ranks 47 in teacher pay and 43rd in pay for construction workers thats up from from five years ago

The trick will be to see how we do this year and next... Last year was fantastic for the state because of oil. We cant just rely on oil though.

a man thank you, oklahoma aerospace industry seems to be on the rise,oklahoma has gone through some bad times this has kept wages low,however a turnaround is in the air, tulsa artist you hit the nail right on the head,

In 2008 Oklahoma ranked 41st in teachers pay, over $41,000 a year.

The only time Mississippi climbed out of the 50th spot for per capita personal income was 2005 when Louisiana slipped to 50th due to Katrina, but that was an abberation. In 2006 Mississippi reclaimed its dead-last ranking.

Oklahoma ranked 28th in the nation for per capita personal income in 2008.
