Sort of. I am looking for deposit info because it is currently under my landlord's account and I'm don't know that. They say that I have to call PSO for it. I would rather not be put on hold for ages with PSO if I don't have to.

Deposit amount will depend on a number of factors.

Credit rating, as well as having a letter of credit from any previous electric utilities will help. I had to get one from HL&P when I moved back to Tulsa in 1994 (that's Houston Light & Power, aka Enron, aka Reliant)

The letter essentially changed my deposit from $300 to $75. I won't guarantee you that will happen to you, but you have to take into account credit score as well. So either way, you're going to have to deal with AEP/PSO to find out for sure.

I will say that we use about 1100 kwH of power a month in my house; that averages out right now to about $130 a month.

Moderator cut: reference to deleted post

I wish there was a way to give someone negative rep. This poster would get it in a hurry. I'd be the first one to give it out. I don't think anyone is going to give you any credence with only four posts and all negative.

I cry shenanigans (troll).

It would be nice if the moderator would/could delete obvious troll posts.
