Don't laugh.
The young and the restless.
Of course, I would live in one of these big mansions, wear designer clothes, and eat at the restaurant every day.

Modern Family....I feel like I already live in that show.

I'll go with this one too.

How often do you find a town in Connecticut that has every type of store you could possibly want, right there on the town square... strolling musicians... no graffiti, no garbage, no crime, and drunks that are funny, not violent.... not to mention plenty of free booze, since Miss Patty regularly serves her famous punch, which she doles out generously... an incredibly handy bus system that goes all sorts of places... book sales with an unusually literate selection for bargain prices... endless festivals... thousands and thousands of pumpkins in the fall and daisies in the spring...

and best of all, it's apparently dirt cheap, since inn employees can afford to buy really nice houses on decent sized lots.

I've started watching Gilmore Girls in syndication, but I'm not sure why as it kind of irritated me from the first one I saw. I'd get a bit tired or intimidated by people who pretty much always speak like it's an evening at the Algonguin Round Table, but other than that I could see the appeal of living there in all the things you named. They also seem like a mostly nice bunch, even the reportedly crabby people are basically decent folk, and I guess you could always hang out with Luke or that Korean family if you want to talk like a regular person.

Anyway I guess my choices, if I haven't done it, would be the popular ones of Northern Exposure and Andy Griffith. Among current shows I guess "Parks and Recreation" as they seem fun, I'm used to smaller towns, and even the jerkier ones aren't that bad from what I've seen. If I was to make a totally left-field choice maybe that kids show with dwarf actor Rappaport, "Wizard" or whatever it was called. It might be too dangerous for me, but I could just hang out with the gadgets or something.

I think so. The freedom to test out crazy theories, and blow things up. What could be better?

Modern Family for me too. (Perhaps I should note here I am a straight female.)

I would love to have Cameron as a best friend/wardrobe advisor/mother confessor.
