Anyone watching this new comedy? I watched the first 2 episodes and it's a bit of a naughty Seinfeld. Louis CK plays himself basically ... stand up comic, newly divorced Dad.

Very funny stuff. I watched his HBO show ... can't remember .. Lucky Louie maybe? Didn't get into that one so much.

I've recorded those first two shows but haven't watched them yet. Thanks for your review.

I didn't like his first show either. He had a wife on that one I think. But, this one's pretty good. The bit about the milk carton touched home. I buy the ones with the plastic caps now. LOL.

Oh man, no kidding! The milk carton bit was funny! The wife from the HBO show is now on Californication, so we don't need to worry about her showing up.

I'll keep tuning in.

I was a little hesitant to watch since I find much of his standup material ridiculously unfunny and offensive, but it was....okay.

Probably the highlight of the 2 episodes was the bus driver. It had me in tears how the guy didn't know where he was going or what he was doing.

Actually he is, far and away, the best standup performer in the past ten years, if not longer. Head and shoulders above absolutely everyone else. His "Chewed Up" special is nonstop genius hilarity, as is the one prior. He's at the top of his game, and the top of The Game.

I loved the banter around the poker table ... got some knowledge out of that one!

I didn't care for it. I saw his bit about the milk carton when he was on the Tonight Show. That was funny.

absolutely love his standup and love how seriously he takes it all ... the guy works hard on constantly developing new material

my favorite bits of this show seem to come from the standup portion (the milk carton routine, the selfish nature of driving an infinity when he could get a perfectly fine car for $20k less and feed a bunch of starving people and then choosing to not care about it)

the program itself is pretty good .... i though the poker game banter was pretty good, especially given one of his standup routines where he drops many F bombs amongst other things ..... the bit with the bus driver was hilarious, as well as putting all the black kids by the window as to not draw attention

I'm surprised at the lack of attention the best show on television is getting here. This season has been genre-defying Perfection.
