Rubicon has been cancelled. I won't be watching AMC until Mad Men returns. Not a fan of the Walking Dead. As the article states, Mad Men didn't attract an audience the first season. They should have given Rubicon a chance.
Clip:
Rubicon is, sadly, no more. AMC announced today that there will not be a second season of the moody thriller. In a statement, AMC said, "This was not an easy decision, but we are grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such a talented, dedicated team.”

I was sad to see that announcement, too, Tigerlily. The network said that their initial numbers were good as people stuck around after Mad Men, but the numbers declined by the week as the story got more complicated. It seems America has trouble with its attention span if things aren't blowing up and/or people aren't falling into bed every five minutes.

I wish the writers, directors, and actors of that show all the best. They gave us twelve weeks of a great story that, unlike most things masquerading as suspense (can you say "24"?), might actually be true.

(But I swear if I ever again see that guy who played Truxton Spangler, I might have to turn the channel. CREEEEEPY.)

I wish we could start some type of campaign to save it! I did send AMC an email.
