I thought there'd be a thread going on this already but I couldn't find one.

I watched the first episode twice last night and couldn't believe the way they drive in India! The way they were passing on blind curves was astounding.

Debogorski having two accidents and going home after one trip and possibly Lisa quitting on the next episode (I doubt it but that's what the previews suggest) is really a switch from Ice Road Truckers.

So do you think Lisa will really call it quits?

Far as I know they have only broadcast epi so far. One should drive in and around Chicago to train for driving in India. That MIGHT help a bit.

The Drivers over there are insane. Just sick.

Definitely not for the faint of heart, nor Alex. Poor guy, he didn't stand a chance in that environment. Who's next? I think Rick will be able to tough it out, blue hair and all.

I watched it last night and didn't think a lot of it. I just don't think it's going to last long with Lisa, Rick and the new driver coming next week.

I thought Alex was crazy for even attempting it especially considering the health problems he has. I don't know what he was thinking!

That "road" they were driving was terrifying....no way I would be up there!

I am a huge fan of IRT (kudos to this year's champ Ray Veilleux) but I think they jumped the shark on this one. I don't like the idea of it and was turned off by the previews. Despite that, I stayed tuned when it came on after the last IRT epi but turned it off after a few minutes. My 2c

If you think that road was bad, the deadliest road in the world is the Yungas road in Bolivia......

Great to hear. I have this TIVO'd and was wondering if it will be any good. There is a road in Moab UT that we off-road on called the Schaffer Switchbacks which deserves a visit for anyone turned on by this stuff:

There are a lot of videos and photos out there, I just picked one, not necessarily the best one, to give the idea.

After watching it, I think I can explain why driving in Ann Arbor is such an adventure!
