I was surfing last night and caught a show that was an International Dance Competition. Now, I'm really not a dancer but I do really enjoy Dancing With the Stars and even the last part of So You Think You Can Dance.
That show last night was th most ridiculous I have ever seen. I only watched the waltz and the tango. The dancing was very precise, BUT, the facial expressions and the head movement were so funny that i almost split my sides laughing.
Some of the men in the tango looked as if their diapers were full.
Maybe I'm an uninformed clod but I thought dancing was supposed to be a pleasurable exercise.
Facial expressions go along with the dancing. You have to look the part of the dance you are portraying. In tango both men and women have fast, precise head snaps. Again, it goes along with the character of the dance.
