Like Ice Road Truckers and Ax Men? I guess if they get enough viewers, they would program anything and call it history.
Like any channel they need diverse programming, those that like guns and shooting might enjoy Topshot, those that enjoy trucking might like IRT, those that like watching trees falling over may watch axe men
Beats by a long shot some of the crap on the Discovery channel and TLC now, I used to watch those channels constantly, now hardly ever, I don't see how people that can't throw things away passes for entertainment.
What about American Pickers and Pawn Stars? Well, I guess they do find some pretty interesting historical items, so I guess I'll let them stay on History Channel.
I refer to the "History Channel" as the "Hitler Channel" because just about every time I tune in there is another documentary about Adolf Hitler and/or WW2 being aired. How many ways can they rehash the same videos and give the show a different title?

Apparently you don't tune into it much then, THC is probably my most watched channel and I don't see Hitler on there all that much

My daughter used to call it "The War Channel" since all the showed at the time was violence.
I say that History Channel has strayed away from what it was when that channel first began and that is telling real history, now for shows like when they talk about mechanical things such as Marvel or something thats good, but for shows like Life After People should be on another channel like Discovery Channel. I mean think about it....Life AFTER People not BEFORE People, why do we care if the world goes down without us since we're vanished from Earth? I mean I like the show and all but for being on History channel that has the show has nothing to do with history? So, what part of "history" is the History Channel is showing and this goes for other shows on that channel that has nothing to do with history.
IMO......your complaints are baseless and Life After People fits in perfectly with The History Channel.
Now I think the Science Channel showing an Idiot Abroad is ridiculous and makes me want to vomit; it has NOTHING to do with science and frankly the show sucks and is about as funny as a toothache!.
