just read this online. something that popped up on the msn screen! Replacing one with a show called "The Chew". You think they could come up with a better name for a show than that. sounds like it is about a hunk of chewing tobacco or something. The article said it was a result of the Oprah show leaving daytime tv.

Those are the only two soaps I have ever followed closely besides Ryan's Hope years ago. Somewhat sad they are canceling, then again two less shows to keep up with. lol

Wherever she wants!

I wonder if there's a chance for the shows to get picked up by another network?

I am shocked at this news. There are still millions of people watching these shows! Why cancel them besides trying to save money. But, for sure nobody will be watching this lame ass replacement stuff!!

Wow....there goes my childhood...no more Pine Valley.....

TBH though, didn't even know soaps were still on....is GH still on? AMC is the last of the ones my mom used to watch...all the others have been long gone.....back in the day, that's what women did when they were folding laundry, ironing or just resting as the kids napped....a whole different era.

Wow...the end of an era. How could they keep those shows going? Erica has slept with everyone and married everyone!
