Why does Jason Lee/Dwight Hendricks look so skinny this season? Is he/was he ill? He looks old so if he lost weight on purpose, I don't think it looks good on him. If he was/is sick, I hope he's doing better.

I love this show. Don't think he's sick. Maybe he wanted to lose some weight. He saw himself on tv -- thought he looks overweight. Women do it and nothing is said.
I don't know. I think actresses sometimes get anorexia rumors, or gastric bipass rumors, if they lose a lot of weight or are deemed too thin. Men get the "is he ill" rumors, but still both sides can get talk on it.
It's still a good show, but for some reason I seem to not be getting as into it this season.

The thing is though, that it ages him. He looks 10 years older than he did the season before.
I guess I didn't notice that drastic a difference. Although I'm not that observant, but I did notice that Paul Lieberstein (Toby on the Office) seemed to have lost a lot of weight and it doesn't look good on him.

Oh, I don't think so! I think he looks great; I thought he looked a little overweight last season. (Maybe because I compared him to Earl!) I think he decided to get fit. He used to be a champion skateboarder, maybe he wanted to feel athletic again.
I could do without the singing parts, especially since it's not Jason Lee actually singing. If he did he own songs, that would be less corny.
Oh Fleetiebelle - this is my favorite part! If this weren't in some city that you never get to see or hear about and have the main actor doing the whole blue's Elvis thing I probably wouldn't be watching! I wish they'd show more of the Mississippi and more local flavor.
