Anyone catch the premier of this show yesterday? Hilarious. Its totally a rip off of Jersey Shore but instead of crazy Italians in Jersey, you've got crazy Russians in Brighton Beach.

You've got a couple of somewhat cute (well really only one is halfway cute) girls who all look 10-15 years older than what they are, a couple of awesome mother in laws and other various nit wits thrown in. Basically, they are all "didavenskis" with money.

They really should have done the show here in L.A./Hollywood with the Russians I hang out with. More interesting and MUCH MUCH BETTER LOOKING.

Russians are soooo boring. I attend parties where several will be there and after listening to their accents for 5 minutes I want to stick a fork in my head.

It reminds me of watching Rocky and Bullwinkle.

As an aside, as a cold war veteran soldier, they were fodder for bayonets.

I wonder if the Russian Medicaid scams will be incorporated into the show.

I doubt it.

LOL. Wife is Russian and we watched together. They really could have found a more interesting and entertaining bunch. Hollywood Russians would have been much better.

Stalin sent my family to the gulag.

Cant stand stupid housewives of wherever or stupid people from some shore and have no desire to see my stereotypes of Russians validated.

I really can't stand these shows that are centered around ethnicities b/c they just propagate the most horrific ethnic and/or regional stereotypes.

And 15 minutes into it, my jaw was already dropping while watching how whiny Marina was treating her mother-in-law; I was so happy when she won the talent portion of the beauty contest.

Fortunately, next week's previews showed Marina getting her ass handed to her by her "friends." But as appealing as the thought is, I just can't sit through another episode of that.

yeah this is one Lifetime show I won't be watching. I'm a little disappointed that Lifetime is getting deeper and deeper into reality shows. I've been watching the channel more lately since they're one of the few still doing series and I'm enjoying Drop dead diva, against the wall and the protector...I hope they do more shows with real actors and writers and not more scripted reality shows

Sorry...this show is hysterically funny.

What at bunch of obnoxious caricatures! Too much, really, dahlink.
