I've never heard of any of these and I have a fairly robust cable package. Is it because I don't have HD? My Mom has a basic DISH package and I don't think she gets any of these either. ?
Well the only show I can think of I would really want to see is a 90s show - Northern Exposure. I don't know why its never been in syndication. Not on Netflix streaming either. No idea why.
I have Boomerang, Me-TV and R-TV (Retro Television).
It's great to be able to choose from quite a few classic sitcoms.
What the hell happened to TV Land??!?!?!?!?
They apparently followed the MTV marketing Model that says to destroy your original business plan in favor of mediocrity and a lack of what people really want from their channel.

Years ago a TV land rep said the station couldn't survive as a "classic tv only" channel because advertisers would never sell ads on that type of network.

It was either Joe Murray (creator of Rocko's Modern Life) or Bill Murrray that said somthing along the lines of you can choose between good quality at an expensive price or crap at a cheap price, but you can't have good quality at a cheap price.
Which option do you think the for-profit media is going to choose?
This is especially true when there are now 600+ channels to choose from (discussion for another thread).

Most of these channels with the exception of Boomerang, are FREE-OVER-THE-AIR channels that you could get with an antenna and digital converter. Yes, some cable/sattelite services might have them on and not necessarily on HD.
Alas we don't get the first two on DirecTV (our only option for TV). We do get HUB. There are also a few old programs on GMC, Inspiration and WHT (World Harvest TV). We used to get Rockford and Simon/Simon, among others, on Sleuth but it changed to Cloo, went to an expanded (more $$) package and doesn't have the oldies anymore.
I've gotton my fill of the Waltons, Little House and Dr Quinn lately. They're on several channels at the same time.
I could watch HUB 24/7 and be deleriously content.
