I like Caleb, Sam Woolf did great...

George did well but they sure don't like his song choice. I think he's got a great voice though.

Dexter. He's a natural, one for the country vote.

4 more to go.

Alex did great. What a hard song and he made it look easy. He's a great musician.

Malcolm. No. Awful singing there.

Ben Briley! Wow. He's pretty good.

Spencer. Should have brought his guitar out.

Caleb was good. I just don't see the real "Star" factor in any of these guys or gals this year. JMO

I thought Alex was the best of the night, and I notice Spencer sung similar style of music and Harry scolded him for it. I disagree with Harry as I like that style and his white jacket, however I thought the microphone was connected to his lips but his looks will mess up votes.
I have hopes for Sam Woolf and hopefully with more confidence he will sing stronger.

Bingo...and I usually see the wow factor in a few of them by now.
Darn it.

I haven't watched the guys yet but I wasn't happy about last night. How did they not pick Jillian to be in the top 10 girls to sing? She's amazing and deserved a spot! Same thing happened to her on X Factor when Demi picked that leopard print loving chick over her.

I can't stand Gina, she annoys me for some reason. Plus her whole name thing and always correcting people when they say it wrong.

Majesty is amazing! I hope she wins!

Marielle didn't do so good. I like her and her story so I hope she stays.

MK is awesome! I love her vocals and how much emotion she has when she sings.

So I haven't watched AI in years. But started up again because I like the judges finally as for the talent. I'm not super impressed with the girls as a whole. That Jessica chick with the pink hair something about her makes me think she's a giant "B". As a rule it seems like the women tried too hard.
I only have two who really stand out to me MK and Majesty.

Now the boys are a different thing entirely.
I'm all about CJ Harris! If he sings one more Ray LaMontagne song I'll probably be lined up first to buy CJ's album

The other guys I'm pulling for:
Ben, Caleb, and Dexter

If I have to list my overall top two it would be CJ and MK - funny how it works out that the ones with initials for names are the ones I like the most

I completely agree with you, Halo! This group of judges make watching fun rather than painful.

I LOVE CJ. I love his voice and musical choices, and he seems to be trying to really stay who he is - a mix of country and blues. Did you see how supportive he was to the other guys last night? I so hope he goes far!

MK was good on the girls night, and I voted for her, but I don't think her voice is very strong. I really didn't like any of the other young women.

I also voted for Alex and Ben. I've been glad to read that others here are also liking Alex; that bodes well for him.

I'll bet all the young female viewers will keep Spencer in because they think he's cute.

The only seasons of AI which I watched all the way through were the first season that produced Kelly, and the Carrie Underwood season. Let's see what happens this year!

Louis Virtel offers a poignant view and his pick who will be the top five guys but he didnt rate Alex.

Thanks for the link.

Of the guys, I like Caleb the most. He reminds me of Meat Loaf.

Caleb is a true performer, and really knows how to work the crowd, as well as sing.

I'm sure Spencer Lloyd will make it to the final 5 based on his looks alone.

He's almost certain to get the teen girl votes.

Shoot, I'm 46 and I'm rooting for Spencer lol. I think there's a name for that, can't remember what it is, it happened before or something.

I think all the performances were incredibly dull and lackluster. It was as if the microphone wasn't loud enough or something. The judges all say the same thing over and over. I only started watching this again because I like J-Lo. It's disappointing me, and as with all the years before, I always fast forward through the performances. Yawwwn.
