In the last year we've noticed the multiple producers listed in the opening credits of TV shows. Executive, coordinating, associate producers, etc. In the "old days" there was a producer, period. What do these new titles mean?

It is all about decisions.....getting producer credit gives an actor more say in the casting, scheduling, scripts, etc. It has just been in the last few years that the AMPAS, the Oscars, limited the number of producers that could be noted for a film that was nominated because each movie had numerous, excessive amounts of producer credits.
