I also am enjoying this show. Boy, Sunday nights are pretty damn full with The Amazing Race, Once Upon a Time, Believe, Revenge, Resurrection, and of course, The Walking Dead!!
Precisely! And that means it's going to be pretty tough for these new shows to keep their numbers up and avoid cancellation! Even though shows can usually be recorded, not everyone can or wants to record more than one at a time. Something's got to go. One thing bothers me on this one. All the oversaturation of publicity within the story line makes it pretty far-fetched for the girl and the dad to be in public at all without capture, especially with the hired thugs being sent out. I just don't swallow that part of it.
Was comparing this to resurrection since i only have time to watch one. I will be watching this one and dropping resuurection off my to record list.
Wow, you think this show is better than resurrection? okay then but I am the polar opposite . I stopped watching this too far fetched this one for me anyways

I recorded and watched both. If I had to choose, I'd go with Believe too.
The thing with Ressurection is you can guess where they are going already. And if a child who supposedly died mysteriously reappeared, instead of going back to mom and dad he'd be subject to all sorts of scrutiny. I would guess it would be assumed they'd open the grave and see who got buried. There doesn't seem to be any question about that but the show seems to make it look like it was hardly noticed. Set in much earlier and yes, but not today.
With Believe, the focus is the girl and her father and the way they will grow close, and how the world reacts to her. The idea is fantasy, but the reaction to it is believable. If it starts looking like the Fugative each week then maybe I'll pass, but the concept works.
I'll keep watching Ressurection too. I do hope they don't go into some religious direction. I like the idea of why remaining a mystery, just dealing with the results.
At least there are two more shows I even want to watch once.
