Here's hoping!

About The Returned
A&E Network's new drama The Returned, from Executive Producers Carlton Cuse and Raelle Tucker, focuses on a small town that is turned upside down when several local people, who have been long presumed dead suddenly reappear, bringing with them both positive and detrimental consequences. As families are reunited, the lives of those who were left behind are challenged on a physical and emotional level. Interpersonal relationships are examined with intrigue and depth as strange phenomena begin to occur.

Premiere Date : March 9, 2015

My guess is the French version is not copywrited so the producers can make an American version. Who knows, maybe the French have a hand in this one too.

I watched it last night. I did like it better than Resurrection. I gave up on that during it's second season. I'll keep watching.

Yeah, ouijee, it is better than Resurrection was. It will get better too. It will be one person's story per week like The Slap is doing. Stories that interconnect in the "big picture". I hope they go beyond what the French did. Like a season 2 sooner rather than later.

You're right. It does get better! I just watched episode 2 a little while ago. I was surprised they were offering the second episode on demand when it hasn't aired yet. I like the cast so far which is a good sign.

Did they mention where this is supposed to be located? It's beautiful scenery. I couldn't make out the license plate I saw.

I'm glad you started a thread or I may have missed this gem.

Gee, ouijee, I forget where this is supposed to take place. Probably Washington state, maybe?? It's probably filmed in Canada. Most gorgeous scene things are nowadays.

That is cool that you got to see episode 2 already. I am very happy you are enjoying it. It IS a great story for those of us who like this kind of thing.

Have you watched this yet? I think it's much better then Resurrection. The original version is French. This is the American version. Well, it was original with the French version. I see no problem with adapting it for an American version, I don't think that takes away the originality of the show!

Yes, ouijee, Resurrection was the take off of the original French version. The Returned is just an English version of the original French so we don't have to watch CC and miss any of the video.

I wonder if there is going to be an interactive website for The Returned like the French did? That was awesome but difficult if you didn't speak French. I muddled around some but gave up cause I don't do French. Or anything else save for my native tongue!

Oh, bummer. I don't get Sundance Channel. Is it online or are there DVD's out there? No Netflix, Roku, Hulu, or any of that, either. Bummer. I missed March 9th on A&E (was watching the NCIS, NCIS:NOLA and POI and totally forgot about this.....Double bummer....

Ooooh! Ooooh! Just checked my Directv guide and "Camille" is on A&E at 1:00 p.m. (AZ time ~~ MST) Tuesday and the next episode is on at 8:00 Tuesday night so I will see the first epi!
