I saw this the other day on Hulu because I forgot to set the DVR for it on Wednesday night and it was a pretty good sitcom. Not quite How I Met Your Mother good or even Modern Family but it is pretty smart writing. Did anyone else catch this?

No, I missed it, and I was wondering if anyone liked the show...

I think they have places to go with the series. I hope others see what I saw in this show.

If the stale "I shaved my legs for this?" joke was the best thing they could find to repeatedly air in promos for this show, I didn't miss much.

I tend to give every new show 3 episodes before I give up on it. This one though, I don't think i'll be watching it again. I just didn't find it funny at all.

I recorded it because I turned on the tv and it was on & in my DVR buffer. Haven't watched it yet though.

I saw a few minutes of it "on demand", because that was all I could take.

I'll agree, the first episode was a bit tough to watch but I think most shows are like that. It's rare to have a show to click out of the box unless there isn't really a narative to the show and you can air episodes out of order without affecting anything.

Are you sure that wasn't a promo for Undateable? They have one similar to that -- I can't believe I shaved them all the way up -- or something like that.

I don't watch any sitcoms anymore because of the lame crap like that.

Best review I've read of the show:

TV: 'One Big Happy

Someone needs to tell NBC that 1992 wants its bad writing back.
