The Brink however was just awful. not funny. Just really stinky smelling BAD! Not a single laugh. Someone must have been really high when they wrote & pitched this idea. A real stinker!
Yeah I was going to mention the same thing....... Unlike Ballers, I was looking forward to The Brink and was very disappointed! Too silly to be funny.

Feel so sorry for agents and public affairs guys after watching this show. It's unbelievable how arrogant, spoiled, and ungrateful these athletes are. And having to be nice to them the whole time? What a headache lol. I guess that's why they get paid so much.
Agents are no better and probably a bit worse tbh. Egos aren't in short supply in sports for whatever reason. Not like they contribute much to society. The show was okay. The Rock was good but the rest of the cast was too over-the-top and the script was very cliched.
I don't see this show being renewed. There are just following 3 athletes; one retired, one in the middle of his career and another that might be a flash in the pan. This show might worked if they had more athletes of different sports. NBA, NFL, MMA, etc.
The rock's character should have been a great NFL player turned sports agent not financial adviser.
