Jon Snow's not dead. Or at least not for good. And, when you really listen to what the producers are saying, you realize that they only say that he "is dead." They do not say that he is "not coming back." That's key. But why else would Melisandre return to the Wall when she did if not to resurrect Jon?
Looks like we have our Crowseye - Euron Greyjoy has been cast. Almost looks like he could be related to Alfie Allen. He's a lot younger than I pictured, but I trust in the casting they've done so far.
I'd bet serious money they had no intention of making the Iron Islands (Kingsmoot, Greyjoys, etc) part of the ongoing story, until they were forced by HBO to add more seasons.
HBO is taking a great show and watering it down by adding 10 or 20 more episodes. So now it's going to meander all around, waste time on side stories, and start boring the hell out of viewers. Instead of the race to the finish twenty episodes that were supposed to be left, to tell a great story.
Networks never learn.
