In the 90s the 1st American Gothic was simply awesome. What an escape to see that evil Sheriff do anything to anyone played by the underrated Gary Cole.
Based on the name I tried to watch 2016's AG and did not make it past the pilot.

I had forgot about the 1st one, I remember watching it.
yeah and that American gothic had the guy from ncis new Orleans as a kid . Lucas black is his name I had forgotten about that one . This one does not seem to be anything like it though .
I thought the pilot was pretty good and I will watch it for awhile I suppose unless it takes a turn toward the crappy and then I will drop it . If you have not checked it out I would .
I planned to watch it but forgot about it.

I recorded the first episode, and didn't get far watching it. I LOVED the 90's show and Gary Cole created something amazing. I have a suggestion. Show the 90's origional. The same could be done with a lot of semirevivals.
I watched the first three episodes OnDemand.
It's like a horrible car crash that you can't help but stop to look at.
Not a single one of the main characters has any redeeming qualities. They aren't even fun to watch being awful.
And yet I almost want to keep watching to see just how low the bar could possibly be set.
I have been watching, waiting for that creepy kid to slice and dice the rest of Carmel. Talk about broken! I am enjoying watching "the haves" being the dregs actually.
that creepy lil kid is going to end up killing someone just mark my words ...I'm having fun with this show .
