Well, I am watching Season 3 now and this is painful.

I recently watched BLUE VELVET for the first time, which lead me to binge Twin Peaks, because the film just seemed like a natural prequel to the 'Agent Cooper' character in some odd way. I looooooved seasons 1&2, the music, the subtle comedy was killing me and I loved the cheesy soap opera-ness of it, too. I was perfectly fine with and enjoyed the weirdness and spiritual elements.

The movie 'Fire Walk With Me' gave good insight into the Laura Palmer story.

But this season 3 reboot thing is really testing my patience.. There was a scene of a guy sweeping a floor for 5 minutes straight. I'm having to fast-forward through lots of stuff - especially the long musical performances. I'm on episode 9, maybe things will start picking up soon..

Well, I rounded that corner and ended up enjoying the whole thing after all. Got so obsessed with Twin Peaks, I started binge-watching Season 1 and 2 all over again... ♥
