Yeah in the first episodes Applegate was a teen while Amanda Bearse was a 30 something neighborhood cutie.

As the series progressed Bearse changed. But even in her "Butch" years she was not unattractive.

Ed O'Neill is doing well with "Modern Family" both professionally and financially so he has no real reason other than nostalgia to do a reunion. Only ones that seem to have a strong interest are "Bud", "Kelly" and "Peggy".

I dont know. That article doesnt really say anything. Ed O'Neill, while doing well on MF happily talks about MWC any time he is interviewed. He understands where he came from and doesnt try to hid the past.

Don't know whose call it was in the wardrobe department for Marcie, but once she left the cute 1980's "preppy" corporate early look it was one quick slide down "Butch" hill. The short haircuts, slacks, vests, etc... just made her look hard, and well like a lesbian. Even when she nabbed Mr. Darcy as a husband you kept wondering "WTF"? How did that happen. If Ted had been an illegal alien or something that needed a green card...

Thing is even for a one off reunion show it would be hard in today's PC/liberal environment to do even half the old MWC stuff.

Oh I think we are/were talking about two different things. I didnt mean there would be a reunion "episode". I just meant a gathering of everyone and a panel discussion and maybe a retrospective to celebrate 30yrs.
