MasterChef Season 8 2017 (shows, episodes, annoying)

There is a new chef this season, Aaron Sanchez. He made some guest appearances on MasterChef Junior this Spring, and I really like him. Now, if they'd replace Christina, I'd be really happy. Not one of her fans. They chose the contestants during the first two episodes and Episode 3 is this Wednesday (June 14).

Saw Graham Elliott on an infomercial yesterday. He looks great, but damn, he was annoying. I guess if you do an informercial, you're expected to be obnoxious?

Do we know why he left MC?

I like the new guy as well. I do wish they'd replace Christina. Not sure what she knows beyond cakes and not a lot of those on the show. GR seems to have taken over the show as 'look at me!'. Now he's prepping things to show off - which isn't the point of the show. We know he can cook. So who knows about Graham, maybe egos got involved.

Thanks for this thread! I didn't see where my DVR had recorded the first 2 shows because I think I had removed it because of MasterChef Junior. I really like having this to watch over the summer months when so little is on.
