Not the classic Rolling Stones ballad (which I fondly recall), but a short-lived ABC sitcom starring Donna Pescow and Robert Hays.

I remember it, I thought she was a gorgeous woman.

As a kid I remember the scene in Saturday Night Fever--one of my all-time favorite films--where she shows Travolta a handful of condoms while in the backseat of a car. I had no idea what they were (I was a young kid at the time). Always loved Ms. Pescow.

I remember this as a young child and it wasnt until recently when I looked it up that I realized it was a very short lived series.

I remember the show! It was made to capitalize on her Saturday Night fever, fame. It was cute! Then again, I was a teenager, when it aired.

Based on what I've read, "Angie" got high ratings at first, then ABC messed with it.

People always (incorrectly) point to "Moonlighting" and the curse of hooking up the main characters. Really "Angie" was the first show to marry the leads only to have it doom the show.

I do! I don't remember the particulars of the show, but I remember that Donna Pescow was very funny as Angie and I liked it quite a bit.

Me too. And I remember her from Saturday Night Fever. And she went to Sheepshead Bay High school.
