I think that with increased binge watching and media consumption overall, there might be a tendency to over-rate shows under our current social situation vs. if these shows arose when we had no restrictions on our activities. My list of recent-ish shows that would have not really passed muster except I'm in my house too much:
The Queen's Gambit. It was very good. It was NOT an all-time great.
Your Honor. I think it was worse than even some of the more negative reviews suggested.
WW84. Would have been 'Cats' if it came out under normal times. JMHO (ducking).
The Undoing. Was just an ok crime/drama/procedural. Utterly forgettable in normal times.
