I woke up in the middle of the night last night to my tv still on and it was an "infomercial" about CDs from the first 5 years of SNL (plus "extras if you order right now!") I watched for about 20 minutes because it brought back so many memories and still made me lol. If I still had a DVR player I would have bought it. THOSE years you couldn't find anything funnier!
The last couple of episodes have been pretty slow, but I suspect it's because they've backed off of the politics a bit outside of Weekend Update.
And by the way, this is still season 46, just the first new episodes of the year. Their season runs fall to spring like most of the rest of the network.

Regina king Should kill it This week. Shes actually really, really funny and hopefully the Writers let her loose.
Weekend Update was Lackluster But this Skit had me on my back Laughing.
