Lately, I’ve been watching this show with twin sisters in PNW (although they sound Canadian). They are real estate agents who claim to be the top sellers in the area.
Aside from the fact that the twin’s over enunciation is very annoying, many facets of the show are satisfying.
The sisters put in their own money, typically, $20-$50k, to improve houses that have not sold, and then guarantee they will sell for more than their investment. After they are paid back, any additional profit is split with the homeowner. If they fail, they would take the loss. If the house hasn’t sold in 6 months, all bets are off, and the seller doesn’t owe anything. The typical split in the end is about $10K/$10k, but one I just watched was a $62,500/$62,500 split.
It’s a win win for the seller, and if I were a real estate agent with the wherewithal, it would be nice to be able to fix obvious deficiencies, to get a house sold faster.
I’ve never been a real estate agent, but I bet you have to kiss a lot of frogs, in between the Prince Charmings. These girls just wave a magic wand and ...poof!

I haven't been watching much regular TV lately, HGTV included.
This show sounds pretty interesting- I will try to look for it
I enjoy those shows and this is a good reminder (thank you ) that I should seek out some nice HGTV.
The thing with this premise though, is that of course, not every house is worth the fix financially for a profit.
Still I will look for it and am looking forward

So true. They are in the Seattle area, so even a forlorn dump has a big asking price. I’m sure they pass on many houses unless the numbers line up.
I just tried to look it up and see when it's on. I don't seem to find it except for I think old episodes on youtube. Is that where you watched it or am I just challenged today? :
I noticed them advertising it on HGTV, so I just asked for it OnDemand, and all the episodes are available. Not YouTube. I guess it might depend on what your cable offers.

They did one season over 2019-2020. I noticed that there was a marathon on a couple of mornings this past week.
There are 2 seasons available on HGTV GO on my Roku TV. I've only seen 2 episodes, but I'm impressed. They seem to have a really good eye for improvements. And I love their staging. I keep wondering how you'd find someone like them in my city.
The sisters are one of the builders on the latest Rock the Block series.
