The Loretta Young Show !! (I am old) I loved the way she swooped into the set with her fabulous dresses and made me want to twirl around the living room.

Diff'rent Strokes was my absolute favorite show when I was a kid. It seems pretty hokey in retrospect, but at least it had a good moral message.

Courtship of Eddie's father

When I was in college I watched it on tv station, Nick at Nite. I wondered why it held my attention so much. When I told my mom about it, she said I watch this when I was growing up

Eight is Enough was another favorite growing up. I loved it for the fatherly advice- Dick Van Patten would counsel one of the kids at the end of the show.

In my house, I got my parental advice/ support from the 80s family sitcoms. I'm lucky they were not tv shows of today!

I loved coming home from school and watching the Mickey Mouse Club (the Annette era). They had serials, like Zorro, and Spin and Marty, that I loved watching.

I also remember watching Rocky & Bullwinkle cartoons and The Real McCoys.

Howdy Doodie when I was younger.
