Is anyone watching this on HBO? It's created by Joss Whedon but it's been slow going. I've watched 2.5 episodes thus far and I'm losing patience.

The way I see it, it's in the same universe as X-Man's mutant people, except in Whedon's world they're called 'The Touched' and it's set in historical British (early industrial revolution period, I think?).

Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of action / fight scenes, but the story itself is moving along a bit slower than I prefer. Should I hang on? Or move on?

I love it.

I think you need to finish eppy 3 and move on to 4. A lot happens. Trust me.

Also, there’s already a thread started. I don’t know how to link threads but it’s somewhere in the TV forum if you do a search.

Maybe this will bring you to the other thread:

Holy. Moley. This just became another show. A lot to process. An unexpected turn.

Wow.

Joss Whedon may be an a-hole to work with, but he can create.
