My husband and I are still watching this show and enjoy it very much.
I remember the actress Erika Christensen as the lawyer/daughter of the Braverman family on the TV show "Parenthood." I like her character in "Will Trent." Her interactions with Will are spot on. (And, of course, there is Betty.)
The actress who plays Faith’s (retired from 30 years in law enforcement) mother also has played Fin’s ex-wife and mother of his grown son on Law & Order SVU.

That's LisaGay Hamilton. She was one of the main characters on The Practice for 145 of the 167 episodes. That was a good show.
She recently played a judge on the TV series The Lincoln Lawyer.
So far, it is one of the better police/ detective dramas. I don't have high hopes for any TV series, but this one is good.
I agree. The most recent episode (10) was one of my favorites so far for several reasons; most of all because of the little boy Theo/Scoot and how Will interacted with him.
Oh, loved the "suit walk" by the two of them coming off the elevator.
The wife and I really liked season one, but feel like season two has been a disappointment so far. The most recent episode was cringe worthy. We will keep watching for a while, but if things don’t improve we will most likely stop watching.
By the way, after learning the series was based on the books by Karin Slaughter I started reading her Will Trent based books. The books are much darker and perverted than the tv show.
