Good grief .... Will somebody please duct-tape Eddie's mouth shut??! His arrogance is almost beyond belief. I was practically cheering when the judges slammed his room design, but in true Eddie fashion his after-words reaction was that it didn't matter because obviously the judges are too stupid to know what's good and what isn't. Too bad he couldn't be booted out. Hopefully he will be gone next week but then again I wonder if the show is just keeping him on because he's the designer that viewers no doubt "love to hate". It would be a pure crime if he ends up winning it though. Who cares how talented a designer is if they are too obnoxious for anyone to deal with? Just MHO.
Isn't it funny how Eddie and Preston have flipped positions? At the beginning of the season Eddie could do no wrong and Preston was always close to elimination. Now it's just the opposite. I can't think Martha Stewart is very happy with how Eddie's representing her "brand" either.
I can't help but think Martha would be thrilled with Eddie's behavior. Ole Martha isn't known to be really gracious either.
And yes, Preston has emerged as the potential winner.

The absolute worst was Andrea, she was so full of herself, never missed a chance to mention, how she wanted to make it on her own. When making it known, she was married to the has been, (TV, movie celebrity) Ricky, pathethic. Then she wanted to go home, gee the going must have been tough!
What do you all think of the Final 3? My guess is that Preston will win it all. I was both a little surprised that Ondine got in (though IMO her room was definitely the next best to Preston's, actually I 'liked' hers the best of the two) and so glad to see the WAB (Whiny Arrogant Baby) go home.
Yea, Preston is a shoo in to win. Judges probably watch the tapes(hello conrestants-do you think they don't??) and know the horrific things Eddie said about them. Bye bye Eddie.
Jeff Lewis cracks me up!!!

Reason: sp
Of the 3 townhouses, I personally liked Ondine's best because it seemed to strike a balance between being too showroom-perfectly-designed (Preston's) and being a little too individualistic/quirky (Nathan's). I could visualize myself living for a longer time with her interiors than with the other two.
I think a design like Nathan's would be great for a while but I wonder how quickly a person might get tired of it. Then again.... that's the whole rationale behind the interior-design business, right? That a client will tire of the look in less than five years and call the designer back for a partial or whole re-do? Planned obsolescence. So in that respect Nathan's approach fits right in with the industry. Makes you wonder how much that figures in to the judges decision!
I was so sure Preston would win. The others were good. But, if I were actually going to hire one of them to design a house in which I was actually going to live, it would be Preston without a doubt.
