Question? What is the song that Derek and Brooke danced to? I have never heard it before, but think it would be perfect for my husband to dance with his niece at her wedding. My BIL is deceased so DH will step in for him.

I am not thrilled with the line up this year, but I do like Brooke. I was rooting for Misty and Maks, but that isn't going to work now.

Brooke's dance was beautiful. The song is called "Daughters" by John Mayer.

I sure will miss seeing Maks on the show. Always thought he was one of the better pros, not to mention VERY easy on the eyes.

I agree that Brooke and Derek's dance last night was just beautiful. Thought Warren and Kim did a nice job too and surprised the judges with his "softer side." But what was that mess that Cloris and Corky performed? If she's not voted off next, I will be really upset. She's making a complete fool of herself. I feel sorry for her partner having to try to teach her while at the same time trying to rein her in. He certainly has his hands full!

I hear ya. It isn't fair to the others now. Whether she is good entertainment or not (last night was NOT) the show is for the
best dancer... time to go Cloris...

Right! What I cannot believe is that Cloris was not the bottom one. That woman has got to go! Must be every senior citizen in every nursing home in every state in America is voting for her!

I really hope that she at least gives it a good try for the next dance. The sillyness and all is getting old...

I had conversation with a young woman who hopes to become a pro dancer and she has been told not to run.

May-Treanor was actually talking last month about the difficulty of dancing in high heels, which she called the show’s biggest challenge. She explained that she usually wears Vans or flats and finds it difficult to walk in high heels, let alone dance.

I AM a profesional dancer and nobody has ever told me not to run. I've been dancing since I was a child and have always worked out and ran and have never had any problems whatsoever putting on my dance shoes (I only dance in a max. 3" heel) and taking first place almost every time.
