I didn't start watching 24 until Season Five... can someone give me a quick Cliffnotes version on the Tony Almeida situation?
almada worked with Jack at TCU along with Michell, who finally married. After a close call, where Michell almost lost her life, I beleive Tony and Michell left TCU, afterwhich michell was killed by a car bomb explosion, Tony tried to kill the man who killed her, but I cant remember how that came out. I think he was stopped by jack, because jack needed the guy for information. I beleive Tony was eventually killed by the guy who killed michell......so we thought.
I saw in the preview for season 7 that the "Colonel" survived the landmine blast, because he was seen talking on a walkie talkie. I guess Barnett failed to get him close enough...

Tony has this obnoxious smerk that we evidently miss. I thought Jack had to shoot Tony on that building to keep that Chinese terrorist from blowing CTU up or something; or maybe it was a snook up Hillary's snizz.
I can't believe this, but it'll be good to see Chloe!

I loved loved the special! But, then my SO says he always takes a backseat to Jack so I could be biased.
Looks like a fantastic season coming up and January seems so far away. Sigh! I was shocked to see Tony and very happy to see Chloe!
Chloe cracks me up! She is the perect comic relief!
