This sjow isn't as good as it once was. Sound like Toby Keith song. I didn't watch the first seasom but did the second. My two favorites were 2 and 6 I think with Tyler. Last year for me was the worse.

The second season was very strong, with Aiken, Locke, Studdard and Gracin. Season 3 is when all the drama started and that began to detract from what had been a very successful talent showcase. Eventually as the seasons progressed, the drama became more dominant and they started losing viewers, including me.

How Jennifer Hudson lost to Fantasia Barrino is still a mystery to me.

If I remember right Jennifer was out like in the top 7 wasn't she. I think sometimes things happen that we don't understand at the time. Jennifer went on to do great things inspite of not winning. Now when it comes to deciding who did the best from those that won or at least the top two. I would have to say Carrie Underwood. Kelly did well for many years but you don't see her as much now.

for real! I'm still pondering that one.
I haven't watched since the season Carrie Underwood won, and rightly so. It lost it's appeal to me after that season. I think it has run it's course.

We saw Ruben Studdard last night, here in Colorado Springs, in the road tour production of "Ain't MisBehaving."

He was excellent as was the whole show. Seems that the TV show has produced some talent, despite the show's shortcomings.

I resisted watching American Idol until 2007 when Jordin Sparks won. Of the three seasons I've watched, this is the best because I like Adam, Kris and Allison. David Cook was my favorite from last season.

One thing about Rueben is that I don't think I 've ever seen a person sweat as much as he does on stage

I started watching it in 2006, don't really feel like figuring out what season it was right now. It was the season Taylor Hicks won and Daughtry went home early. I almost stopped watching if after that.
