Actually, I have read that she made a disparaging comment semi-publicly about African Americans, if you are looking for dirt. Not quite as bad as comments floated around by Paris Hilton, but rude nonetheless.

I don't care for her voice either. The gravelly voice has become sort of a fad for a lot of younger women. Reminds me the old songs that Conway Twitty used to sing...LOL. I don't like it when gals try to make their voice like that, makes it sound like they have some kind of serious throat condition!

Rach is also too hyper for me....I am more inclined to watch the Barefoot Contessa (Ina Garten) since she is not so hyper and more relaxing to watch. But, hey, it's all relative, right?

I like some of Paula Deens recipes, but don't like listening to her either...can always turn down the sound or just get the recipe from the web.

I used to find her refreshing, but she wore thin quick, way too much exposure. The TRISCIT comment was right-on. We can't blame her, she does have PR people, managers, and let's not forget OPRAH (echhhh), oh sorry I will be nice. But anyway, if we had the same opportunities, we would milk it, too.

I heard she's got a bad temper too. She supposedly cussed out some people a few years ago in Las Vegas.

I am trying to understand why she has a show and exactly what it is she has to offer to a diverse audience. I have watched her show once or twice and unless Bill Clinton is going to be a regular I most likely will never watch it again.

Well, wouldn't it be something if she had done that? I mean, no one else on the planet has ever cussed at anyone....how rude of her!!

She's annoying!!! I can't stand to watch her.

I also know people that work with her through licensing deals and they said she's a nasty b*tch.

They claim that her laryngitis and hoarse voice is always due to her rooting & cheering for her atty hubby's band. But she was most likely hollering at her staff, being a fat little chubbo....eating too much of her yummo foods. Her cooking ideas are good, BUT SHE IS GOTTA SHUT UP! and take a chill pill for god's sake woman!
