I loved that show! some of the episodes were really creepy like the one with the guy and the ventriloquist puppet. I wonder if it is out on DVD. I used to watch it every weekend. One of my friends made fun of me because of it.
"Friday the 13th: The Series" "Friday's Curse" (UK) "The 13th Hour" (USA) Micki, played by the singer Louise Robey Ryan Dallion, as played by John D. LeMay, his character was written out of the series at the beginning of season 3 Chris Wiggins played Jack Marshak as the strange, mystical father-figure Johnny Ventura, played by Steven Monarque, didn't have much time to develop, but did go from being a brash, hot-head to a trusted member after Ryan's exit.
With the successful DVD release of the first season of Friday The 13th The Series, Paramount Home Entertainment has announced February 10th, 2009 as the release date for Friday The 13th The Series: The 2Nd Season. Friday The 13th: The Series Season 3 On DVD September 22nd!
one that sticks out in my mind is the one with the doll. Dolls creep me out anyway, and I remember this doll coming to life or something. If it's on dvd, i'd get it! It was a cool, scary show! especially late at night and I watched it in the dark!!

I was a big fan of this show. The staple of my saturday night viewing back in the day. The channel it came on would show Tales from the Darkside, Monsters and then end with Friday the 13th. I agree there was little to no promotion for the show and it kinda lost it's steam after Ryan was written off. Ah the 90s. Pretty much the last decade of the syndicated series
I loved "Tales from the Darkside". That voice! so creepy. Do you remember "Shock Theater"?? that was a classic also!
