These days TV shows do not often have theme songs...especially with words. The first that I can remember all the words to is THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES. Come and listen to my story about a man named Jed...A poor mountaineer barely kept his family fed......
I also remember every word of Gilligan's Island...I did not care for it, but your selections were limited then..... Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale.....
These songs/words will stay with us for life. I work in Geriatrics and the most senile patients can remember and sing most of the songs they grew up with; truly astounding!
